Bread/Fruit Trifle Pudding

                             Bismillahirrahmanirraheem

This is my first post and I am so much excited about it.The first blog I visited is "Kachus Delight" which is owned by one of my far relative. Her blog inspired me a lot.Once I saw her blog I came to know that every normal person can write a blog despite any technical knowledge.I thank you Hasna dee once again for being my driving force though you dont know me.It was from her blog I came to know about "Shabs Cuisine" which too inspired me a lot."Novices Cuisine" is also one of my favorites.I am just in to blogging and may take time to be professionals like you all.And to be frank I didn't visit much of the blogs either.
Since this is my first post I would like to post something sweet.I rarely try desserts or puddings. But love eating sweet dishes. But this time since I tried it,I badly wanted to post it coz it tasted awesome.
Bread Trifle Pudding
 Ingredients
750ml Milk
300ml Sweetened Condensed Milk
15 Almonds soaked,peeled and sliced
15 Almonds crushed
10 gms China Grass
1/2 cup warm water
20 Dates finely chopped
1  Any crunchy chocolate(Optional)
15 to 20 Arrowroot Biscuits(Based on the mould)
Bread or Any fruit to use as the base
2 Cups Whipped Cream
15 Pistachios sliced
1/2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
11/2 cup milk + 3 tablspns Sugar

        Method

  1. Firstly soak china grass in warm water.
  2. Now cut the sides of the bread and set as the base of the pudding.Soak the bread slices with the milk and sugar mixture.
  3. You can refrigerate the base until the other ingredients are ready.
  4. Now heat the milk in a pan and add the sweetened condensed milk to it and stir continuously so that it does not get burnt. You can also add some more sugar according to taste because sweetness seem to reduce once refrigerated. After milk gets boiled, cook it in low flame for 5 minutes continuously stirring it.Add vanilla essence to it.
  5. Heat the china grass water mixture in a pan at medium heat.Stir continuously until  it dissolves completely.
  6. Once it dissolves add the china grass to the milk mixture and remove from the stove.
Stir continuously so that it does not get curdled.
  7. Take out the base from the refrigerator and sprinkle the roughly crushed almonds, crushed chocolate bars and dates on top of the base. Now top this with arrowroot biscuits.
      8.   On top of the biscuits pour the milk china grass mixture and keep it aside for it to set.
      9.   You can also refrigerate for quick setting.Once it is set, pipe in the whipped cream through an                piping bag on top of it.
     10.  Garnish with Pistachios and sliced almonds.
Served with Jam Sauce
Note:You can substitute the base with fruits like thinly sliced apples, peaches or chopped   pineapples.Once you are using pineapples make sure that it is sauted with 4 to 5 tablespoons of sugar in a frying pan.Else it would give a bitter taste to the pudding.
